ES Folk is a model from Hohner`s Essential series which covers some of the basic and standard acoustic guitar body shapes. This guitar comes with non-cutaway design and dovetail neck joint construction. It features a body made of mahogany back and sides with spruce-made sound board on the top. Top panel is bound in natural binding and equipped with a single circle rosette around the sound hole. There is nopickguard installed on this model. Also, Hohner does not install electronics on ES Folk, it is purely acoustic guitar. Bridge section is equipped with a standard shaped bridge made of rosewood. Neck is made of mahogany, which is the most common neck material for the acoustic guitars. Fingerboard is made of rosewood and it is equipped with a standard set of 20 frets with dot inlays.
