Spire series is, like the most of the Dean Guitars catalog, oriented towards metal and heavy rock music. It offers four and five-string basses with modern design, full-length scales and strong and versatile tone. Spire 5 is the flagship model of the series, offering a solid and double cut body with neck-through construction and flamed maple top. Wings of the body are made of mahogany and are glued onto the maple neck. Spire 5 is offered in Trans Red with high gloss finish and black hardware. On the top, there is a standard five-saddled bridge with black plating and a pair of humbucking pickups with a standard controls section. Maple neck sports a fast and comfortable contour in the back and it`s topped with a 22-fret rosewood fingerboard.
