B-50 and its left-handed companion are currently the most affordable B series models, coming in under the $300 mark. They make terrific starter instruments, as well as great practice and backup options. Gigs (especially at bigger venues) and studio recording are not among their strong points.
B-50 LH is the left-handed B series starter model. It offers the stripped-down design, bare-bones construction, standard 34" scale, a 24-fret fingerboard, good playability and versatile tone (courtesy of the ESP Designed pickups). Black (w/gloss finish, black plastics, chrome hardware) is the only available color option.
Other important features include a solid & flat basswood body, plain maple neck (thin U profile), rosewood fingerboard (1.50" nut, 15.75" radius, dot inlays), hardtail bridge, passive J/P pickups, and LTD tuners.
