Stream Series Electric Bass Guitars by ESP
Stream Series Electric Bass Guitars by ESP
E-II range is located just beneath the supreme ESP Original and has a task of offering the professional level instruments at a reasonable price. This means that the E-II range is filled with top-tier guitars and basses which don`t cost a kidney, a liver and a leg. For 2016, ESP has updated the range heavily. A large number of E-II guitars and basses have made their debut at 2016 NAMM in Anaheim, Ca. One of the basses is also the magnificent E-II Stream SL5. It is a five-string beast with a long 35" scale, active EMG electronics, bolt on neck and black hardware. It will be available in Deep Red Metallic Satin.
E-II Stream SL5 starts with a solid and carved body made of white ash base and white ash top. The neck is made of three pieces of maple and has the standard Thin U profile in the back. On its top, ESP installs a 21-fret ebony fingerboard (XJ frets, block inlays, 1.81" bone nut and 12" radius).
EMG`s 40J in the bridge and 40P5 humbuckers bring a wild thunderstorm capsuled in just four coils. The storm is harnessed through a small, but effective controls unit (volume, stacked 2-band EQ, balance and boost switch). Hipshot bridge and Gotoh tuners keep this beast in perfect tune.
