EX basses take on the legendary Explorer shape and mix it with ESP`s authentic styling and tone. EX 104 is currently the only model in this series and it is made for younger metal and punk players as the perfect rehearsal and home practice model. Also, thanks to it`s super affordable price it can also serve as the beginner`s model. EX 104 has a solid basswood body and bolted maple neck. Beveled edges, sharp and pointy cutaway, black color scheme with glossy finish and chrome-plated hardware complete the body specs. Two active humbuckers are installed on the top of the body and they feature the standard separate volume and tone controls. Neck sports the standard U contour in the back and a 22-fret rosewood fingerboard on the top.
