H series is dedicated to the bass players in pursuit of the ultimate, all-tones-in-one instrument. Currently, the series sports only the 1000 models (a four-stringer and a five-stringer), with 400s, 200s and 50s expected sometime in the future. H-1005SE starts off with a modern double-cut design, neck-thru-body construction, active electronics, and 24-fret fingerboard. The scale is 35", one inch longer than the standard 34" bass scale, giving more room to the players who use drop and low standard tunings. Honey Natural is the name of the only available color option. Core construction features include a 5-piece maple/bubinga neck, solid mahogany wings w/burled maple cap on top, hardtail Gotoh bridge, Nordstrand Big Splits pickups, and Gotoh tuning machines.
