Marco Mendoza is one of the hardest working bass players in the business and one of the best, as well. Since 1989, Mendoza has toured and recorded with numerous bands and artists. Whitesnake, Ted Nugent, Bill Ward, Thin Lizzy (reformed), Black Star Riders, John Sykes and many more. For 2016, ESP is featuring Mendoza`s first signature ESP/LTD model. It is a top-level LTD four-string bass named MM4FM, which will be unveiled at 2016 NAMM. MM4FM is a no-frills professional bass guitar. It kicks off with a solid, double-cut body made of alder base with a flamed maple top. Dark See-Thru Green Sunburst is the only color scheme available at the moment. Maple/walnut neck is a five-piece and it is bolted to the body. On its top, there is a 21-fret fingerboard made of maple. 21 XJ frets, 1.65" string nut and a custom 12th fret inlay are featured on the fingerboard. EMG`s active J and P pickups are installed in bridge and neck positions, respectively. Master volume and balance knobs comprise the controls. Four-saddled hardtail bridge (Gotoh) and die-cast Grover tuners with Hipshot extension complete the specs list.
