TL series is LTD`s solution for the players looking for thinline guitars and basses. The guitar section offers only six-stringed models (with both conventional and exotic tonewoods), while the bass section offers four and five-string options. TL-5SM is a standard-scaled thinline bass, with five-string construction, super elegant design, and versatile tone. With the price tag set around $600, TL-5SM is among the most affordable representatives of its class. The color palette is limited to Natural (w/gloss finish, white body & neck binding, white plastics, chrome hardware). Main construction features include a chambered mahogany body, spalted maple top (w/single, offset sound hole), 3-piece mahogany neck (thin U profile), 22-fret rosewood fingerboard (1.77" molded nut, 15.75" radius), fixed rosewood bridge, Fishman electronics, and Grover tuners.
