IBANEZ GRX20 REVIEW
Electric Guitar by 'Ibanez'
There are better guitars then GRX20 but it feels like that GRX20 is really a very good guitar in it's price range. Ibanez could maybe invest more in GRX20 development phase and that would make GRX20 awesome, but it's by no means bad guitar as it is.
pickups: 2 Powersound humbucking
Basswood body
Rosewood fretboard
22 medium frets
Ibanez went really far in carefully choosing GRX20's features. There's little to be wished for, which makes GRX20 a full-featured guitar for a musician that plays a music style this instrument is primarily built for. If you decide to go for Ibanez's GRX20 you will be happy with it's safe to say - rich features. A job well done by GRX20.
Tone delivered by Ibanez's GRX20 makes it serious sounding instrument that gives Ibanez a lots of reasons to be proud. Somewhat limited when playing certain music styles doesn't mean that GRX20 will not make your playing sound rich, as that is what GRX20 provides: rich and versatile tone that you'll be happy with.
Ibanez did a good job. GRX20 is built well, finish feels just right, hardware is solid. While playing for a longer periods of time you can expect GRX20 to stay in tune and you will be pleased while playing, because the neck does provide great deal of comfort. You might find that over time metal parts will oxidize a bit, but that's normal and nothing to worry about. Ibanez did a really good job with GRX20 guitar.
Playing live, GRX20 will perform well and will not let you down. It is fairly reliable instrument both in studio and on stage, and will be a long term companion, as it is built to last. Ibanez has made a solid instrument that you will be happy with, and can depend on right from the start. Needs no backup as it has proven to be built really well.
