IBANEZ S5470 REVIEW
Electric Guitar by 'Ibanez'
A bit more features for the price asked is what most musicians would like to see from Ibanez's S5470. Wether it's the quality of craftsmanship, or the price, musicians don't seem to like what Ibanez offered with S5470.
5-piece Wizard Prestige 24-fret neck
5-piece Wizard Prestige 24 neck frets with Jumbo
Mahogany body
pickups: HGD1 neck humbucker with ST1 mid single coil and HGD2 bridge humbucker
Gotoh precision tuning machines
Some say that the average is golden, and maybe that is true for Ibanez's S5470 as well. There are musicians who would like to see more features on S5470, but Ibanez felt that S5470 provides enough features for a given price and the market that Ibanez shoots for. Perhaps there are better equipped guitars then this one, but S5470 will deliver for what it's built for.
Though it could be better, action of Ibanez's S5470 is not that bad at all. It may lose tuning when mistreated, but it's easily retuned in tune in no time. You won't be put down while playing by S5470's neck. Guitar does feel a bit cheaper, but it will last you a long time if you handle it with care each instrument should be getting anyhow.
Some might say that Ibanez didn't go all the way in providing a reliable and durable instrument, but S5470 isn't that bad. It will serve you well most of times, though you should be wary and have backups in situations where you feel S5470 might let you down, such as gigs and studio sessions.
