Kreator frontman Mille Petrozza and Iron Maiden legend received signature models from Jackson. Mille`s model is a King V and Adrian got a San Dimas Soloist.
Jackson arrived at the 2012 Frankfurt Musikmesse with two brand new signature models. First one is Adrian Smith Signature SDX, a model made for the Iron Maiden legend. It continues the series of Adrian`s San Dimas Soloist shaped signatures in Jackson catalog. The second guitar is Mille Phobia King V, a model made for Kreator`s frontman, Miland "Mille" Petrozza. It is his first signature model with Jackson, and also the first signature model after almost thirty years of career.
Jackson Adrian Smith Signature SDX comes with a San Dimas Soloist shape and it brings a solid basswood body in combination with maple neck. he body top is flat and it features no binding or top woods. Pickup combo contains three Jacksons, a humbucker in the bridge and noiseless single coils in the middle and neck positions. They come with a simple controls layout which includes master volume, master tone and a five-position blade. The neck is made of maple and topped with a rosewood fingerboard. 22 frets, dot inlays and 1-11/16" wide locking nut complete the fingerboard. Bridge is a recessed Floyd Rose tremolo. Jackson Mille Phobia King V is made by Mille`s exact specs and it comes with a King V body made of basswood. It is combined with a maple neck with speed contour. This King V is all about simplicity and deadly tone. There is only one pickup, and it is an EMG81 in the bridge position. Master volume and a kill-switch comprise the controls section. The maple neck is covered with a rosewood fingerboard. There are 24 jumbo-sized frets, shark fin inlays and 1-11/16" wide locking nut. Bridge on this model is a recessed Floyd Rose Special bridge.
