Purple Silver Sunburst
Doris Yeh of the Taiwanese folk/black/death metal titans Chthonic is the only female in the current lineup of ESP/LTD bass signature artists. Her DY series is based on the radical FRX Bass concept and its only model is the majestic DY-5 clad in dark and mean Purple Silver Sunburst.
DY-5 comes with a solid, double-cut body made of mahogany wings and maple neck running through the center. The neck is equipped with the standard Thin U profile in he back and a 24-fret ebony fingerboard on top. The most interesting feature on the fingerboard are the fluorescent blood drop inlays.
Pair of active Seymour Duncan SSB-5 soapbars is combined with ESP`s own 3-band Cinnamon EQ to comprise the electronics unit. Hardtail Gotoh bridge and modern tuners wrap the list of major features.
