The main prize of this month`s Framus giveaway is the Vintage 5/168 Golden Strato De Luxe, a beautiful Strat-like model made in China.
Framus is one of the biggest and most important brands in Germany and entire continental Europe with production lines being located in Germany, South Korea and China. Framus was founded in 1946 and is now merged with Warwick which is also a German brand, but focused on the production of electric basses. Warwick and Framus have traditional monthly giveaways and for October 2013 issue of the giveaway, Framus has chosen the beautiful Vintage 5/168 Golden Strato De Luxe model wihch is made in China. Framus Vintage 5/168 Golden Strato De Luxe is a solid and double-cut guitar with a mahogany body and maple neck. Body of this model has flat-top design and bolt-on neck construction. On the top, there is a vintage-styled pickguard designed in vintage Strat style. Also, there are three single coil pickups, as well as a tremolo bridge. All hardware on this model is plated in gold. Maple neck is topped with a 21-fret rosewood fingerboard. 24-3/4" scale, dot inlays on the fingerboard, medium jumbo-sized frets and vintage-styled tuning machines wrap the specs list.
