ESP and LTD 2012 New Models

A multitude of new and refreshed models are heading out to the highway and hitting the stage in 2012.

ESP and LTD are bringing a ton of novelties for 2012, starting with amazing new color schemes split between Eclipse, EC, Horizon and HRF series. Eclipse-II, Eclipse-II QM, Eclipse-II w/Duncans, LTD EC-1000, Horizon FR, Horizon FR-II, Horizon FR-II w/Duncans and Horizon NT-II have been completely overhauled with new paint jobs. Horizon line has received additions in shapes of FR-27 and FR-7 models. HRF is a brand new series in ESP catalog which models combine Horizon-styled bodies and F series headstocks. Currently, the series consists of two models: HRF NT and HRF NT-II.

ESP Horizon FR-27 is a brand new model for 2012 and it`s main feature is the ebony fingerboard with 27 frets. This causes some structural changes as the regular place for neck humbucker is compromised. The solution comes with Seymour Duncan Hot Rails humbucker in slanted position right behind the fingerboard. Other than this, FR-27 is a regular Horizon with alder body, maple neck and neck-through construction. Six strings, black nickel hardware and Floyd Rose bridge wrap it for this guitar. For more info check Horizon FR-27 detail page on our site, or on ESP official web page.

ESP Horizon FR-7 breaks the boundaries and takes the Horizon series further on to the realm of seven-stringers and extreme metal. All of the key ingredients which made Horizon series a bestseller are still here, but with the addition of seven-saddled original Floyd Rose bridge and EMG707 pickups. Alder body is carved and it comes only in black gloss paint. The ebony fingerboard sports 24 extra jumbo frets with 1.89" wide locking nut. Maple neck is running through the body for increased stability and sustain. For more info check Horizon FR-7 detail page on our site or on ESP official web page.

ESP HRF series emerged after Horizon body and F series headstocks collided. Thin U contours on maple necks active Seymour Duncans and 24 frets are still there. First on the list is HRF NT, it is a solid, double cutaway model with mahogany body and tune-o-matic bridge. Strings run through the body instead of being wrapped around a stoptail bar. For starters ESP assigned only black gloss paint option to this model, with more expected soon. For more info check HRF NT detail page on our site or on ESP official web page.

ESP HRF NT-II is very close to the HRF NT, with the major difference being stylish quilted maple top and color options. See-thru black cherry, reindeer blue and black aqua are new paint jobs available for this model. Mahogany body is paired with maple neck via the neck-through joint. Seymour Duncan Blackout active pickups are sitting in bot the bridge and neck positions of this hot newcomer.
