Warwick Alien is the top series of acoustic basses produced by Warwick under the name of Alien Bass. Other series under this name are Rockbasss Alien Standard and Rockbass Alien Deluxe. Warwick Alien offers high-end acoustic-electric basses with top notch materials and hardware appointments. Four, five and six string models are available. Lefties and fretless variants also exist. Warwick Alien 6 Fretless is the top fretless model of the line and it comes with a jumbo shaped cutaway body made of laminated ovangkol backs and sides and laminated spruce top. The top is flat and bound in white. The offset sound hole gives the Alien basses really out-of-this-world looks, and here on Warwick alien series models it features a black rosette. Natural gloss is the only color options available. The bridge is a standard feature, as it comes with white string pins and bone saddle. The amplification is supplied by Fishman, and it consists of Prefix Plus T preamp with a side-mounted control panel and an under-saddle piezo pickup. The neck is made of mahogany and attached to the body with a set-in joint. The fingerboard is made of tigerstripe ebony and it features a Just A Nut III string nut.
