Godin is Canada`s premier guitar manufacturer and a brand of worldwide prominence. Their catalog, though mostly based on the classic Fender/Gibson heritage, still manages to show true character and authenticity. Session line deals with vintage-styled guitars made for modern players who need a versatile axe able to cover a vast range of styles. Godin Session Custom `59 rocks a single-cut body (based on the classic Tele design) with a beveled top and bolt-on neck joint. It is made of Canadian Laurentian basswood in its entirety, while the neck is made of rock maple. 22-fret fingerboard (both rosewood and made options are available) is on its top. Godin`s Custom Cajun in the bridge and SD `59 Classic in the neck are passive, but at a touch of the HDR button, they turn into an active set. Godin`s own patented string-through trem bridge and die-cast tuners keep this beast in perfect tune.

Feels and sounds great! Love the HDR switch but also never having to worry about producing sound even if the battery dies. This guitar covers all the bases!
