A5 SA is a five-stringed variant of the A4 SA acoustic-electric bass from Godin`s A series. As Canada`s largest manufacturer Godin offers a huge number of models for almost every player profile on the market. The A series covers the bassists who like the acoustic feel to their bass lines. Also, these models are equipped with single cutaway bodies with semi-hollow construction. Back and side panels on A5 SA are made of silver leaf maple, while the top is made of spruce. Top panel is equipped with control sliders instead of the sound hole. Neck on this model is made of rock maple. It comes with a set-in joint and is topped with a rosewood fingerboard. 20 frets are covered with dot inlays. Chrome hardware and 34" scale wrap the specs list.
