Gretsch Guitars have a long tradition of high quality acoustic and acoustic-electric guitars, and this G5022CE Rancher Jumbo Cutaway delivers quality worthy of the Rancher series heritage. It comes in a cutaway jumbo shape with a flat top and traditional triangular sound hole. The body is made of laminated flamed maple backs and sides, and solid spruce top. Black binding is found around the top. Tortoise shell pickguard has Gretsch logo inscribed on it and the sound hole features a white painted edge. The only color available for this affordable Rancher is Savannah Sunset with polyester gloss finish. The bridge is made of rosewood and features belly shape, compensated synthetic bone saddle and white pins. The electronics are made up of Fishman Sonicore under-saddle piezo pickup and Isys+ preamp with side-mounted control panel. Control panel has volume, bass, treble, phase, tuner and battery life indicator. Mahogany neck is topped with a pretty standard rosewood fingerboard. The fingerboard, itself, is equipped with 21 frets and a set of neoclassic thumbnail position inlays. Other features include 25" scale, die cast tuning machines, gold plated hardware and 1.6875" wide string nut. The MSRP for G5022CE Rancher Jumbo Cutaway Electric is set at $700.
