Dreadnoughts are predominant shape in Alvarez` Artist series and they compris around fifty percent guitars in this line. Artist is one of the budget friendly series in the Alvarez catalog. 511SB is a non-cutaway guitar with fully acoustic construction. This one comes with sunburst color scheme, which is finished in high gloss. Besides this Sunburst, Natural is expected, but Alvarez decided to hold it back, to distinguish 511 from similar dreads in the series. Body of this model is made of rosewood back and side panels with spruce sound board on top. Top panel is bound in creme binding and has black plastic pickguard. Bridge is made of rosewood and it sports a standard mustache shape characteristic for Alvarez. Rosewood fingerboard is equipped with 20 frets with a custom 12th fret inlay.
