Alvarez Artist Series Acoustic-Electric Guitars by Alvarez
Alvarez Artist Series Acoustic-Electric Guitars by Alvarez
Artist series roster consists of a wide range of (mostly) steel-stringed acoustic and acoustic-electric models, which are mostly made in China (and then shipped worldwide). Dreadnought, grand auditorium, and folk models dominate the roster, with classical nylon-stringers, jumbos and parlors completing the lineup. AD60L is a fully acoustic dreadnought, the only left-handed dread featured in the tier 60 lineup. It offers a non-cutaway body (mixed laminated/solid construction), standard-shaped neck (attached at the 14th fret), stock hardware, and characteristic Alvarez styling. The MSRP is set at $479, with the only color option being Natural (w/gloss finish, white binding, double-circle rosette, bound fingerboard, chrome-plated tuners). Other notable features include mahogany back & sides, Sitka spruce top (A+ grade spruce), mahogany neck, 21-fret rosewood fingerboard, rosewood bridge, and forward-shifted scalloped X bracing.
