Back and sides are laminated, while the tops are solid (Grade A+). 65 sub-tier offers models with mahogany backs & sides and cedar tops, while the 66 models sport all-mahogany bodies (standard laminated/solid combination). AP66 is one of only six 66 models. It is a fully acoustic parlor with short scale (24"), flat-top body, chrome hardware, and FST2M bracing (forward shifted, scalloped X pattern).The MSRP for the Shadowburst option (the only available color option) is set at $499. Other notable features include laminated mahogany back, laminated mahogany sides, solid mahogany top (ABS binding, abalone rosette), mahogany neck (12th fret joint, semi-gloss finish), 18-fret rosewood fingerboard, rosewood bridge, and chrome-plated die-cast tuning machines.
