The fantastic Jazz & Blues line is among the most recent additions to the Alvarez`s catalog. Though still heavily focused on the acoustics and classical models, Alvarez has begun to reintroduce the electrics through the new J&B line. All three are archtops (two semi-holllow, one hollow). The Delta00DLX is a non-cutaway OM guitar with a small body and a big tone. The MSRP is set at $829, which roughly corresponds with upper intermediate Artist models and basic masterworks series. The main construction and design features include a New Yorker body (solid mahogany back/sides, solid spruce top, ABS binding), a mahogany neck (semi-gloss finish, 20-fret rosewood fingerboard (12th fret inlay, 1-3/4" nut, 24-13/16" scale), rosewood bridge, open-gear tuners, and back-shifted bracing.
