Alvarez`s Masterworks series offers professional level instruments made for both the stage and studio duties. The current lineup features only two tiers - 66 and 70. 66 models come with all-mahogany bodies and wrapped in the classy Shadowburst paint scheme, while the 70s sport the rosewood/spruce combo with Natural paint jobs. MPA70E is an amplified parlor guitar which features an all-solid body (rosewood back/sides, AA Sitka spruce top), a one-piece mahogany neck (rounded profile, 12th fret dovetail joint, semi-gloss finish), 18-fret rosewood fingerboard (24" scale, 1-3/4" bone nut, 12th fret inlay), rosewood bridge (Alvarez contour, bone saddle, ebony pins), FST2M bracing (forward shifted, scalloped X pattern), LR Bagg`s electronics (StagePro EQ and Element pickup). The MSRP is set at $1,299.
