Applause section of the (Ovation) catalog currently has two main branches - Elite and Balladeer (Standard). Both branches feature Plus and "Regular" models, with Plus models having exotic tops and fancy decorations. Applause Balladeer Plus Mid Depth AB24IIP-KOA is one of over a dozen active Balladeer models. It comes with a standard Lyrachord single-cut body, 25-1/4" scale, Applause by Ovation electronics (CE304T preamp and piezo undersaddle pickup), and stock hardware. Like the rest of its series mates, AB24IIP-KOA rocks a conventional soundhole and a 20-fret fingerboard. Koa is the name of the only available color option. Other notable features include a koa veneer top, nato neck, 20-fret fingerboard made of ovangkol (dot inlays, 10" radius, 1-11/16" ABS nut), ovangkol bridge, and die-cast tuners.
