Applause is Ovation`s range of affordable, budget-friendly guitars, modeled after the main range`s series and models. The current linuep of the Applause catalog has two series - Applause Elite and Applause Balladeer. Both series rock the standard single-cut Lyrachord body, 25-1/4" scale, Applause by Ovation electronics (acoustic-electric models), and stock hardware. Applause Elite Mid Depth AE44II-4 is an Elite series repreentative. It offers a single-cut body w/mid depth bowl and a solid spruce soundboard on top (ABS ivory binding, offset soundholes without epaulets). AE44I-4 is available only in Natural (w/gloss finish, chrome hardware). Other notable features include a nato neck (gloss finish, chrome-plated hardware), 22-fret ovangkol fingerboard (CITES approved wood), ovangkol bridge (CITES approved), CE304T preamp w/piezo pickup, and die-cast tuners.
