Roadhouse Acoustic-Electric Guitars by Art & Lutherie
Art & Lutherie is, arguably, the most "American" of all Canadian acoustic guitar brands, as well as a proud member of the Godin brand family. Founded in 1995, A & L has earned quite a reputation among blues and country players from all corners of the North American continent. Its Roadhouse series is perhaps the brand`s most traditional one, being made up exclusively of vintage-style parlors. Roadhouse Q-Discrete is a nod to the postwar steel-stringers with electric controls, immensely popular among the 1950s/60s musicians. Main features of this vintage parlor include a non-cutaway body (laminated wild cherry back/sides, solid spruce top), silver leaf maple neck (12th fret joint), 19-fret rosewood fingerboard (24.84" scale, 1.72" nut), Q-Discrete electronics (pickup w/vol & tone knobs), fixed rosewood bridge, and open-gear tuners.
