MBA-28-G comes from the Award series made by Bedell Guitars and it is a non-cutaway guitar with acoustic-electric construction. Fishman Matrix system is installed on this model. It is the standard type of amplification for the Award models and it provides astounding level of quality of the amplified tone. Body of this steel-stringer is made of rosewood back and side panels and spruce sound board on the top. Top panel features natural binding and single circle rosette. Hardware featured on the headstock includes a set of six Grover tuning machines painted in black. Natural-colored guitar is finished in gloss lacquer. Bridge is made of ebony and it sports a regular belly contour along with synthetic bone nut. Single-piece mahogany neck is topped with a 20-fret ebony fingerboard.
