TBA-24-G is one of three dreadnought models from the Award series made by Bedell Guitars. This series is an intermediate to upper-intermediate ranked series is Bedell catalog and the prices set by the manufacturer range around $2,500. For that money, Bedell delivers some astonishing features, as well as breath-taking tone. This dreadnought comes with acoustic-electric construction and it is equipped with Fishman`s Matrix pickup/preamp setup. Body of this model is made of rosewood back and sides and cedar sound board on top. Bridge section is equipped with a regular-shaped rosewood bridge with synthetic bone nut. Grover tuners are installed on the headstock and they are plated in nickel. One-piece mahogany neck is topped with a 20-fret fingerboard made of ebony.

After Bedell Blew out there import models I was Lucky enough to find a TBA-24-G. For less then 600 bucks the Guitar is absolutely incredible. Solid Cedar top, solid Madagascar rosewood back and sides...ebony fretboard and bridge, pearl inlay. Most importantly plays perfectly. Sounds phenomenal plugged in. Quality instrument. As good as anything I own. If you're lucky enough to find a award series Bedell....buy it. The performance series are also great, there's a lot more out there at good prices. But the Award series are something special. I also have a OHA-18-G Single 0 parlor with a solid Engelmann Top and Solid Figured Mahogany back and sides. The best single 0 I've played. The Award series are getting harder to find. Well worth the search and we'll worth the wait.
