ECR2-C belongs to the Solitaire series made by Boulder Creek Guitars. It features a multitude of series-characteristic appointments. This one is a dreadnought, like all the other models in the series and it features combined solid/laminated construction. Back is made of solid rosewood, sides are made of laminated rosewood and the sound board on top is made of solid spruce. Instead of having a conventional sound hole, ECR2-C has a sound hole on the side of the body, next to the preamp. Body is bound in abalone binding and finished in high gloss. Neck is a standard one, it`s attached to the body with a dovetail joint set at the 14th fret. It is topped with a 20-fret fingerboard with abalone dot inlays and 1-11/16" wide string nut.
