Cobalt C250S is a model from Carvin`s Cobalt Acoustic series of acoustic and acoustic-electric guitars. It features basically the same specs list as C250, with the exception of the cedar top, instead of C250`s spruce. This cedar top is paired with mahogany back and sides and it comes with ivoroid binding, tortoise shell pickguard and triple circle rosette. Neck on this model is made of mahogany and it is attached to the body with a dovetail joint set at the 14th fret. It is topped with a rosewood made fingerboard. It is bound in creme binding and equipped with 20 frets covered with dot position inlays. The bridge on this model is made of rosewood and it features ebony string pins, TUSQ string saddle and belly shape. Grover tuners and 25-2/5" scale complete the specs list.
