Cordoba`s Acero series` models blend the classical and steel-string traditions in a unique and interesting way. All models have body shapes characteristic of steel-string guitars, with a heavy dose of classical/Spanish traditional construction features. Eight dreadnoughts and two grand auditoriums model are currently available. D9 is the basic, most affordable dreadnought model of the entire Acero range. It offers a non-cutaway body, fully acoustic construction, hybrid fan (Torres)/X bracing, Spanish Heel neck joint, and minimalistic styling. Natural color, with gloss finish, chrome hardware, and discrete rosette is the only color option. Main construction features include solid mahogany back & sides, solid Sitka spruce top, mahogany neck and 20-fret rosewood fingerboard. Other notable features include 1.8" string nut, Grover tuners, and a solid rosewood bridge.
