Negra is an alternate take on the GK Studio story, and Cordoba made this one acoustic-electric as well. Fishman Presys Blend pickup is installed and ready to use. Negra has different set of tone woods, which is dominated by Indian rosewood. European spruce, mahogany and ebony follow. Indian rosewood is used for back and side panels of the body, giving Negra more potency than regular GK Studio has. Maple binding contrasts it and European spruce sound board sits on top. Ebony is used for bridge and fingerboard, instead of rosewood. Fingerboard has 1.96" wide nut and 19 unmarked frets. Bridge is made with a classical contour. Neck is the only mahogany-made part on this model. Hardware installed on the headstock of this model is plated in gold, as it is a traditional classical guitar feature.
