AC12 is situated within the Cort`s Classic series of classical guitars. These compete with affordable nylon-stringers from other brands. AC12 in particular is the intermediate model of the line and it comes with a non-cutaway body made of mahogany back and sides with a spruce top. The top on this model, as on all classic guitars features no pickguards. Sound hole features a stylish rosette. In the bridge section, Cort installs a rosewood bridge with a standard classic shape. AC12 is envisioned as fully acoustic nylon-stringer and Cort installs no electronics on it, whatsoever. The neck is made of mahogany, it features oval shape and dovetail joint. The fingerboard on this model is made of rosewood, and it comes with a standard set of 19 frets with no inlays.
