The Classic series is Cort`s main series for nylon-stringed guitars. Mostly, the series` roster is populated by affordable, student and beginner-class guitars. Also, the majority of the models comes in with fully acoustic construction (lacking electronics), and with a full 19th fret. The brand new AC160 is a 2018 model, introduced together with the rest of this year`s updates at NAMM (Anaheim, Ca). It is made primarily for the students and inexperienced players and rocks a pretty affordable price tag. Consequentially, the color palette`s limited to Natural Gloss (w/simple rosette, simple black binding, stock hardware). Main features include Macassar ebony back & sides, spruce soundboard, a mahogany neck (12th fret dovetail joint), a 19-fret fingerboard made of merbau, a classical merbau bridge, and open-gear tuning machines.
