Earth series is one of the most important and most popular acoustic guitar series in Cort`s catalog. It`s main objective is to deliver the looks, feel and tone characteristic of the legendary steel-stringers from the golden age of acoustics. That is a quite an ambitious and demanding task, but Cort makes it seem as if it was a piece of cake. For 2014, Earth series is being reinforced with one model, the Earth300V. It is a full-sized dreadnought guitar with non-cutaway body and a vintage-styled neck with the classic 14th fret dovetail joint. Backs and sides of this model are made of mahogany (back is made of solid mahogany), while the top is made of solid spruce. On the top, Cort installs a solid and standard-shaped rosewood neck with a bone saddle. There are no electronics installed on this model, no pickups, or preamps. Mahogany neck rocks the standard Earth series contour in the back (players who like the bulkier vintage necks will be absolutely thrilled with Earth300V`s neck) and a 20-fret fingerboard made of rosewood on the top.
