Excel series` Brooklyn (internally designated SD-400) is one of the latest addition to D`Angelico`s acoustic range. It is a vintage/modern guitar, made for players who like their guitars big and loud. Moreover, classic D`Angelico styling, top quality hardware and Fishman electronics are featured on this steel-stringed dread. Excel Brooklyn (SD-400) kicks off with sapele back & sides (solid back, laminated sides), solid spruce top (multi-ply binding, abalone rosette, Stairstep tortoise pickguard), mahogany neck (C profile, 14th fret dovetail joint, classic D`Angelico headstock) and 20-fret rosewood fingerboard (multi-ply binding, block inlays, medium jumbo frets, 1-11/16" bone nut). Other major features and appointments include a fixed rosewood bridge, Skyscraper truss rod cover, Fishman INK-4 pickup & preamp combo and Grover Rotomatic tuners.
