Dean`s Exhibition series offers affordable and superbly built acoustic-electric guitars. All of the core models come with single-cut bodies and B-Band electronics, as well as 21-fret fingerboards. Exhibition`s A/E w/Aphex is the series basic model. It comes with an all-mahogany body ($419 price tag indicates laminated mahogany) and a mahogany neck. Color palette is wide and includes five options: Resurrection with an elaborate graphic over white base, Black Satin, Natural, Koa and Camo. All are, except the Black Satin, finished in gloss. Classic Dean`s rosewood bridge conceals a piezo pickup. It is paired with a B-Band A3T 4-band EQ preamp. The result is more than satisfying, considering the price range of the Exhibition A/E. Mahogany neck is attached at the 14th fret and topped with a 21-fret fingerboard (both the rosewood and maple versions are available).
