Exotica Series from Dean is a home for acoustic and acoustic-electric guitars with bodies made of exotic tone woods instead of regular mahogany, spruce, rosewood and maple. Exotic Koa is a grand auditorium shaped model with single cutaway construction. It`s entire body is made of koa and it comes in natural color with glossy finish. The top panel is equipped with abalone binding and single circle rosette. Pickguard is not featured on this model, as it is omitted from the entire Exotica roster of models. Triangle-shaped bridge is made of rosewood. Electronics department is equipped with under-saddle pickup and Dean preamp. Neck on this model is made of mahogany and it features a C contour. Fingerboard is made of rosewood and it features 21 frets with dot position inlays.
