Natural Series Dreadnought with Aphex is one of four starting models of the newly established natural series in Dean Guitars catalog. This series deals with high quality steel-stringed acoustics and acoustic-electrics. It was introduced earlier this year at NAMM show in Anaheim, Ca. Starting four is made up of three dreads and one jumbo, also there are three acoustic-electric models and only one fully acoustic. Dean has high hopes for this series. Natural Series Dreadnought with Aphex is a non-cutaway dreadnought guitar, despite it`s acoustic-electric construction. Body of this model is made of rosewood back and sides with spruce sound board on top. Tobacco Sunburst and Gloss Natural are the only color schemes available for this model. Finish is gloss on the top and satin in the back and on the sides. Electronics setup includes DMT 12EX preamp with tuner, DWC Aphex aural exciter and Big Bottom circuitry. Neck is made of mahogany and it features C contour in the back. It is attached to the body with a 14th fret joint. On it`s to, there`s a 20-fret fingerboard made of rosewood. It features a 1-5/8" wide TUSQ nut. Bridge is also made of ebony.
