Round shoulder series in Epiphone catalog is directly correspondent to the round Shoulder series from Gibson, as they have the same model focus. AJ100-CE is an acoustic-electric variant of the AJ-100, the basic model of the series. It comes with a dreadnought-shaped body with single cutaway design. It`s back and sides are made of rosewood and the top is made of spruce. Top panel is bound in white binding and equipped with a black plastic pickguard. In the bridge section Epiphone installs a belly shaped bridge made of rosewood. Electronics are very simple on this model, as they include an under-saddle nano-flex pickup. Neck is made of maple and it has a dovetail joint set at the 14th fret. Rosewood fingerboard features 20 frets with dot position inlays.
