AJ-500RE is a model from Epiphone`s Round Shoulder series of acoustic and acoustic-electric guitars. This line contains the slope-shouldered dreadnought guitars. AJ-500RE features non-cutaway design. It`s back and sides are made of mahogany and it the top panel is made of spruce. The top is bound in multi-ply binding and it is equipped with a plastic pickguard with vintage styling. Sound hole sports a triple circle rosette. Bridge section on this steel-stringer is made up of a belly shaped rosewood bridge. eSonic stereo preamp and Nanoflex pickup comprise the electronics department. Neck is made of mahogany and it sports a slim taper D contour. It is topped with a rosewood fingerboard with 20 frets and dot position inlays. Gold-plated tuners and 25-1/2" scale complete the specs list.
