MM-30SE is an acoustic-electric mandolin from the Epiphone`s Mandolin series. It comes with an A-styled body made of mahogany back and sides and a spruce top. Mahogany and spruce is one of the most widely used combos of tone woods for the bodies of steel-stringed instruments. Mahogany provides a strong low end, while the spruce gives the crisp through the entire tonal range of the instrument. Top panel on this model is equipped with white binding and a pair of "f" holes. Bridge on this model is height adjustable and made of rosewood. Shadow piezo pickup is installed under the bridge saddle. Neck on this model is made of mahogany and it features a set-in joint. Fingerboard is made of rosewood and it is equipped with 20 frets with dot inlays.
