PR-4E is an acoustic-electric model from the Contemporary series by Epiphone. It is a jumbo-shaped guitar with single cutaway construction. It`s back and side panels are made of maple, while the top is made of spruce. Through a dovetail joint, this body is paired with a mahogany neck. C contour is applied on the back of the neck and it is topped with a fingerboard made of rosewood. 20 frets are medium in size and are marked with dot inlays. In the electronics section of PR-4E piezo pickup and preamp are found. Bridge is made of rosewood and it sports a belly shape with white string pins and plastic saddle. Chrome-plated die-cast tuning machines and a scale of 25-1/2 inches complete the specs list.
