ESP catalog, besides the electric guitars and basses contains acoustic section with several series of acoustic and acoustic-electric guitars. EW-SM is a model from the Exotic Wood series and it comes with a grand auditorium shaped body with single cutaway construction. It`s back and side panels are made of maple, while the top is made of spalted maple. This model comes finished in high gloss and bound in several layers of binding. Pickguard is omitted, with top being only decorated with an abalone rosette. Belly shaped bridge is made of rosewood. Electronics area is equipped with B-Band electret film transducer and T-35 preamp. Set mahogany neck sports U contour and it`s topped with a 20-fret rosewood fingerboard. Gold plated tuners and 25-1/2" scale complete the specs list.
