Elfdalia`s motto is simple and powerful, it reads "dynamic & harmonious", which Elfdalia`s models certainly are. Second generation is currently active and it has two models - a dreadnought and a grand auditorium. Mahogany vs cedar is the main theme of the Elfdalia range. Elfdalia II Dreadnought CE is a single-cut dreadnought guitar with flat-top construction, dovetail neck joint, modern electronics and Hagstrom hardware. Back and sides of the body are made of mahogany, while the cedar replaces the omnipresent spruce as the main sound board material for Elfdalia models. mahogany neck and the body are connected through a 14th fret dovetail joint, and are accompanied by a 20-fret fingerboard made of resinator. Fishman`s Sonicore pickup (under-saddle, piezo) and Isys+ preamp are the catalog-wide amplification standard. Resinator bridge and Hagstrom die-cast tuners wrap the specs list.
