Hagstrom has a tradition of naming the acoustic guitar series and models after famous and beautiful places around Sweden. Orsa series is no exception, bearing the name of a town in close proximity to Hagstrom`s main facilities. The series relies heavily on ovangkol harvested from controlled sources. The current lineup has four models - two acoustic and two amplified. Orsa Grand Auditorium belongs to the former group, being series` only fully acoustic grand auditorium model. Main construction features include laminated ovangkol back & sides, solid Sitka spruce top, 24-3/4" scale, 14th fret dovetail neck joint, and modern hardware. Hagstrom sells Orsa Grand Auditorium only in Natural Gloss finish. Other notable features include a solid mahogany neck w/smooth contour, 20-fret Resonator fingerboard w/medium jumbo frets & Tusq nut, fixed Resinator bridge, and Hagstrom tuners.
