Ibanez EW series is dedicated to the production of exclusive models. These guitars come with exotic wood appointments instead of regular spruce, maple, mahogany and cedar. It depends from model to model what the combination would be, for they are all designed to offer high level of personality along with quality craftsmanship and tone. EX35SPENT is a brand new model and one of the best this series has seen thus far. It comes with a special EW shape with a single Florentine cutaway. the body of this model is made of sapele pomele back, sides and top. Binding on the top is made of mahogany. There are no pickguards on this guitar. The bridge is made of rosewood and it comes with belly shape, Advantage bridge pins and Ivorex II saddle. In the electronics department, there is a B-Band under-saddle pickup with a preamp. Control panel for this setup is mounted onto the side and it contains volume, bass, mid, treble and anti-feedback sliders. Also, it has phase and chorus button switches. String tuner wraps the preamp control panel. The neck is made of mahogany and it is topped with a rosewood fingerboard. The fingerboard features 20 frets with a custom 12th fret inlay and 1.69" wide Ivorex II string nut. 25-1/4" scale, gold plated hardware and die-cast tuners complete the specs list for this gorgeous acoustic-electric.
