The very beginnings of Ibanez (Hoshino Gakki) are tied to the import and later production of classical guitars. Today, some fifteen years into the 21st century, Ibanez still maintains a large and diverse line of classical guitars.
G10 is one of basic models of the Classical series. It comes with a pretty standard set of features and options. The body is made of laminated mahogany back and sides and a solid Engelmann spruce sound board on top. Mahogany neck is attached via the standard 12th fret dovetail joint. There is a 19-fret rosewood fingerboard on its top (flat radius, side dot inlays and classical-sized frets).
Other major features include a classical rosewood bridge with compensated bone saddle, regular fan bracing and classical tuning pegs. There are no electronics on G10.
