Talman series is probably one of the most advanced lines of acoustic and acoustic-electric guitars on the market. It offers double-cut acoustics with thin body contours and radical designs. It is made with the idea to give electric guitar players a comfortable switch to acoustics. For 2013, Ibanez introduces a pair of new Talman guitars and one of them is named TCY74. TCY74 comes with a thin double-cut body made entirely of mahogany. One of specific things of Talman design is the offset waist, which adds to the dynamic look of the guitar. TCY74 is only available in Natural color scheme with open pore finish. Bridge on this Talman is a series standard rosewood bridge. Underneath it Ibanez installs a Fishman Sonicore pickup. It is paired with Sonitone preamp, also made by Fishman. Neck on this model is made of mahogany and it features a comfortable back contour, which was made with electric players in mind. On it`s top Ibanez installs a standard 20-fret rosewood fingerboard.
