Jasmine also offers a small series of acoustic-electric bass guitars, which is currently populated by only one model, the ES50C. This one comes with a single-cut acoustic-electric body made with jumbo contours. Almost needless to point out, body of this four-stringer is made of nato and spruce. Nato and his old partner spruce make up majority of bodies with Jasmine tags. Traditionally, nato takes the back and side panels, while the spruce occupies the top. Black binding and triple circle rosette add to the vintage theme of this model. Natural color of the wood is combined with glossy finish and chrome hardware. Under-saddle piezo pickup is combined with a side-mounted preamp to form the electronics department of this model. Both the bridge and 22-fret fingerboard are made of rosewood.
